Australia is home to many different owls, those wise and mysterious noctural birds with flat, heart-shaped faces and large eyes. Perhaps because owl is nocturnal humans see owl as a knower of the night mysteries. The owl links us to our feminine, to the moon, and thereby to wisdom, but often this wisdom is gained through deception because night is a symbol of our inner sanctuary, the place where we hide our secrets.
The barn owl is often seen in Australia and is a small bird, usually seen at night when you disturb it sitting on a warm tar road, flying in your car headlights or perched on a roadside fence. Their wheezy call can sometimes be heard overhead, even when you don’t see the bird.
Barn owls locate prey more easily with their ears than with their eyes but their vision is still acute; you will now be able to hear and see more clearly what others try to hide. You will hear even what is not being said and will see what is hidden in the shadows or done by night, i.e. by deception.
No matter how hard they try, people will not be able to deceive you about their actions or their motives.
Trust your inner knowledge now, but be aware that this power may make others uncomfortable around you because of your uncanny ability to see what is hidden and hear what is not said.
With Owl magic, you can always see and hear truth.
