DINGO

April 20 – May 20

Dingo is found in the sky using the same stars as the constellation of Perseus, which is one of the 48 constellations listed by Ptolemy in the 2nd century and remains one of the 88 modern constellations. Perseus contains the variable star Algol and is the location of the annual Perseids meteor shower.

People born to Dingo are artistic, trustworthy, determined, systematic, detail oriented and highly productive. They enjoy routine and are not easily upset. Although they are honest and straightforward, they can be vengeful if betrayed.

Dingoes know almost instinctively from birth how to handle groups and how to fit in with the crowd. Dingoes are also great survivors; McGyver from the old TV show was probably a dingo because he exhibits the dingo characteristics of resourcefulness and his ability to survive against seemingly impossible odds.

The dingo is a true wild dog. Although individual dingos will breed with domestic dogs, in a pack the dominant male breeds with the dominant female once a year and then the whole pack cooperates to help rear the pups. When you are born to dingo it doesn’t matter whether you choose to run with the pack or travel alone, because you will always be successful. You honour the rituals of your chosen group and when you love, you give total loyalty and will fight for what you want to protect.

However, you will also know how to defend without actually getting into a serious brawl. You can use and understand body language, ritual, warning signs - you know now exactly who you are and where you fit into the bigger picture and, like dingo, you won’t fight unless you have to. You know you have your native intelligence and rare cunning to help you succeed, whatever the odds.
